Maryland Ammendments:

Amendments to Maryland’s Rules of Procedure incorporating electronically stored information went into effect on January 1, 2008. The United States District Court, District of Maryland has a ‘Suggested Protocol for Discovery of Electronically Stored Information’ that encourages the parties to conduct a conference and create a report regarding the discovery of electronically stored information. Additionally, this protocol details preparation for the conference and the topics to discuss at the Rule 26(f) conference.
